Class and Instructure Announce Partnership and Enhanced LMS Integration With Canvas

Today, I'm thrilled to share some big news. Class has entered into a new partnership with Instructure which includes a new and enhanced integration between Canvas and Class.

The partnership allows for the purchase of Class directly from Instructure, and will help meet the needs of institutions leveraging Canvas and Class to drive learner engagement, improve completion rates and outcomes.

With the integration of Class and Canvas:

• Workflows are significantly improved by allowing users to launch Class directly from Canvas. This integration automates course setup, section scheduling, and rostering within the Canvas environment, ensuring a fluid experience for the learning community.
• Instructors can easily access course content from Canvas, including assignments and quizzes, directly within Class. This automatic population of content in Class saves time and helps instructors focus on keeping learners engaged.
• Learner performance data is centralized within Canvas, with completion and grades seamlessly transferring from Class. This enables instructors to effortlessly monitor student progress and outcomes.

One early user of the enhanced LMS integration has been Miami Dade College. Miami Dade has the largest undergraduate enrollment in the country and is both a Class and Instructure customer. Miami Dade also participated in the beta program for the new integration.
